Hiking with snowshoes in a winter landscape is fun for everybody - especially for those of us who don`t like skiing. Take a look at this spectacular hike with a view!

Many possibilities for hiking - also during winter

Årdal is a great location for both skiing and snowshoeing. The video shows you a hike to one of the best viewpoints in the Sognefjord area: Mt Brendefjell / The Paradise Gorge.  The trip starts by the Ski- and activitycentre in Seimsåsen, Indre Ofredal. The duration is about 4 hours in total. The elevation is 160 meters. There is a small cabin at top open for everyone, where you can stop and eat your lunch. The hike goes through an idyllic pineforest in a slightly hilly landscape. There are tracks almost all the way to the top - so this hike is long, but not very demanding.
